We'll be at Fruit Logistica 2022 too!

Having missed last year due to the general suspension of fairs in response to the Covid-19 situation, Simonato will be back at the Fruit Logistica fair in Berlin between 5 and 7 April 2022.
We will be in Hall 4.2/B-08, showcasing our certified-organic aromatic plants and presenting innovative solutions in the field of eco-sustainable packaging.
Our company has been certified organic by ICEA (the Italian Environmental and Ethical Certification Institute) since 2000, celebrating 22 years of organic certification this year. The aromatic herbs we produce are grown according to a strict organic protocol, without the use of any synthetic chemical substances or genetically modified organisms.
We truly care about the wellbeing of the planet and strive to find solutions to reduce our environmental impact. As such, we have developed packaging ideas to add value to our 100% organic products.
As well as BioKepos3 – our tried, tested and highly popular solution consisting of a peat pot, plant-based fibre bag and information sheet made from food wrapping paper – we have also designed a new paper-only, entirely plastic-free packaging line to hold and transport our organic aromatic plants: Bio&PaperPack. This new packaging consists of two elements: a handy pot-holder made from natural-coloured recycled cardboard that is suitable for food contact, and a water-resistant paper bag, designed to hold and protect the plant without the need for a traditional plastic pot.
Having long served as a leading showcase for many companies operating across different sectors, we see Fruit Logistica as the perfect opportunity to present our quality products. And the fair has a particularly key role to play this year, representing the first international attempt to return to normal after many long months of challenges and sacrifices.
