BIOFACH 2019

Following our hugely successful participation in the 2018 BioFach fair, Simonato will once again take part in this year's event. Scheduled to take place in Nuremberg from 13 to 16 February, it is the largest and most important event of its kind in the world, with 2,900 exhibitors set to present their products and innovations.

This unmissable fair showcases fresh and frozen food products, as well as non-food items such as cleaning products, cosmetics and pharmaceutical products. Exhibitors' innovative and standout products will be on display at the Bio Fach "Novelty Stand" in hall 8. Attentive visitors will have the opportunity to vote for their favourite: the most original and interesting product that receives the most votes will be given the Best New Product Award.

Simonato will present a new product at the Novelty Stand: BioKepos3, our innovative zero-impact packaging consisting of a biodegradable pot that can be planted directly in the soil or disposed of in the compost bin, a compostable corn-fibre protective bag and an information sheet that can be disposed of with the paper waste. With this packaging, Simonato offers an organic, recyclable and eco-friendly product for a more sustainable future.

The Simonato stand (stand 4-225/B, hall 4), meanwhile, will feature a range of our organic aromatic plants: since 1997, our fully organic production methods (certified since 2000) have complied with strict organic standards, guaranteeing the quality and traceability of our products.

Visitors can also pick up some gadgets that celebrate our collaboration with the Team For Children association, which has been supporting Padua's paediatric oncology and haematology clinic for more than a decade. Simonato has been working with the association for the last two years to raise awareness and support for their invaluable work helping children with cancer and their families.
