Success for Simonato at MacFrut 2018!

The 35th annual MacFrut international fruit and vegetable trade fair took place in Rimini in early May. Early indications were good, and by the end of this year’s event around 43,000 visitors had attended, a quarter of whom came from abroad, according to published data. This is a great result that supports the decision to move the event to the location in Rimini, which is able to support large numbers of visitors.

MacFrut is a prestigious international event for professionals in the fruit and vegetable, innovative machinery and futuristic technology sectors, and since 2017 it has dedicated more space and opportunities to producers and growers of organic produce. In just three days, it creates countless opportunities for meetings, conferences and seminars for all those interested in the sector.

This year Simonato was delighted to participate in MacFrut for the third year running, and took the opportunity to exhibit and present its certified organic plants to the numerous visitors.

Our stand in pavilion B5 also had a special guest: the non-profit Team for Children organisation, which joined the organic herbs on their trip to Rimini. Since December 2017, Simonato has been supporting Team for Children and is helping to raise funds to support young cancer patients and their families.
