SIMONATO ORGANIC AROMATIC PLANTS HIT THE SHELVES AT PAM AND PANORAMA

The emphasis placed on the organic market and the attention paid to organic food has been growing steadily and significantly in recent years.

Since 1997, the Simonato Company, a pioneer in the sector, has dedicated itself to organic production, supplying its clients with certified organic aromatic plants, guaranteeing their quality and complete traceability.

Many of our clients have positively embraced the opportunities offered by the organic market: one of our major success stories of 2018 was entering into an agreement with Pam Panorama, a well-established chain that has been operating in Italy for more than 60 years. It shares our goal of offering products that protect the health of consumers and the environment.

On 31 October 2018, Pam Panorama launched its new Pam Panorama BIO line, including many of our organic aromatic plants: rosemary, mint, parsley, basil, sage, chives, dill, red basil, Greek basil, coriander, lavender and chilli pepper.

Our aromatic plants are grown in eco-friendly greenhouses according to scrupulous growing methods, allowing us to provide excellent quality and certified products at various stages of the year.

And, since 2019, Pam Panorama has chosen to sell the aromatic plants in our innovative, fully biodegradable packaging: BioKepos. Each plant is placed in a plant-based fibre pot that allows it to be replanted directly into the soil and disposed of in the compost bin, while the packaging film is made from corn polymer and plant-based fibre and is 100% compostable.

This new line of packaging is a great achievement for us here at Simonato, a company proud to offer our clients excellent products that reflect the increasing demand for organic, eco-friendly and zero-impact products.
