Wholesale Bio Coriander Farming Process
Coriander is an annual herbaceous plant, characterized by a slender 30-50 cm stem, vibrant green leaves, and delicate umbellate inflorescences. The plant produces small yellow fruits containing seeds, which, once dried, are valued for their citrus-like aroma in various culinary applications.
The bio coriander production process at Simonato Brothers Farm utilizes specialized greenhouses in Due Carrare (Padua), where plants are cultivated in well-drained organic topsoil under optimal sunlight. The coriander's growth cycle spans about four months, with sowing occurring between March and April. Germination takes place swiftly in the farm’s greenhouses at controlled temperatures between 12° and 15° C. The umbels are carefully harvested in July or August once the plants are fully matured, dry, and brown, ensuring peak quality for our wholesale bio coriander supply.
