1910
Albino Simonato, a hard-working man of great humanity was born in 1910. He worked as breeder and farmer. As a pioneer he started together with his wife Maria Babetto the growing of young herb and vegatable plants which he sold directly on the market and in his small shop.
1937
In 1937 Umberto Simonato was born. He followed his father's footsteps and contributed with determination and great lucidity to teh business project that his parents had started. After his marriage with Luciana Fincato their five children were born: Donatella in 1962, Carlo in 1963, Franco in 1965, Gianni in 1967 and Paolo in 1971

1979In the time of the economic growth the bond with the tradition and the dedication to the soil became stronger. In spring 1962 the tunnel greenhouses are inaugurated in Via Vo' di Placca in Due Carrare. The greenhouses were not fixed to the ground but they were covered during the winter period and uncovered in the summer time. Vegetable seedings and garden plants were cultivated and, over the years, to meet the needs of the market we began with the cultivation of aromatic plants.

2008In these years the greenhouses have been completely updated with a special focus on technical development. they were built with a modern structure and equipped with equipped with technology adapted to the new needs of the market. The entrepreneurial skills of Carlo Simonato, the active support of the brothers Paolo and Gianni, the dedication of the brother-in-law Luciano Valandro and the wisdom of the parents Luciana and Umberto have contributed to the realization of the Fratelli Simonato Company specialized in the cultivation of aromatic plants grown in compliance with biological criteria.

2000
The conversion into organic farming began in 1997 and in 2000 the Simonato Company received the BIO certification issued by the Institute fro Environmental Ethics Certification - ICEA. The prestigious award ensures that no pesticides, insecticides and other chemicals are used in every phase of cultivation. The certification requires the use of products that can stimulate natural self-defense of the plant and curative methods determined by using predatory insects against parasite infestation without damaging the cultivated plants.

and 2017These two years are very important in the Company's history. In 2012 we received the GLOBAL G.A.P. (Good Agriculturale Practice) certificate issued by an independent organisation which guarantees an excellent level of quality of the products in worldwide wholesale. In 2017 we also received the GLOBAL G.A.P. certificate Grasp (Global risk assessment on social practice). Manufactures who awarded this certificate are able to guarantee in every phase of production compliance with safety regulations, respect for the environment and a virtuous management for the benefit of the company.

The Simonato Company invests in the acquisition of land in Via Nespollari along the river Vigenzone where additional new greenhouses are built, equipped with high technology and in full compliance with environmental standards.
2017
Today the company has in its greenhouses an acreage of about 40.000 square meters in addition to some outdoor areas. All this makes Azienda simonato an economic factor in Italy and the largest producer of aromatic organic plants at a national level. a large, well-organized team of motivated responsible employees with a very special guardian: the Labrador Dolly!
